iOS 9 support is here!
This version of the app now supports iOS 9 features such as iPad multitasking including Slide Over (iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2 or later) and Split View (iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 4), Search integration, and 3D Touch support (on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus).
On compatible devices, simply swipe in from the right-hand side to activate Slide Over mode where the app is available for quick access. Slide the divider handle to activate Split View where the Knit and Crochet Counter app will be displayed side-by-side with another app, such as your pattern viewer.
Search on iOS 9 can now pull up projects from the Knit and Crochet Counter app, and by touching the search result, you'll be taken directly to the counter.
On the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, from the home screen, press firmly on the Knit and Crochet Counter icon to see its Quick Actions, including your three most recently used projects and the ability to create a new project. Select one of these items and you are taken directly to your project.
From the Counter List screen, press firmly on a project to peek at the counter. Press harder to pop the counter to the front so you can use it.
Other New Features
When using a repeating counter, you may now select when you are alerted in the repeat (at the first row, at the last row, or when you finish the last row and go back to the first row. You may also disable the alert.
In addition to seeing "Total Rows Done" when using a repeating counter, you can now enable that separately. That's great for tracking overall progress in a project while keeping track of your position in the pattern.
On occasion, background photos for a counter wouldn't be displayed (showing a black background instead) or the photo would be incorrectly rotated.
